آی تی ایران - تعدادی از اعضای جامعه مدنی و فعالان جامعه اطلاعاتی از یوشیو اتسومی دبیرکل اتحادیه جهانی مخابرات خواستار قرار دادن نام شیرین عبادی به عنوان سخنران افتتاحیه اجلاس تونس شده اند.
به گزارش آی تی ایران در نامه ای خطاب به اتسومی تعداد زیادی از انجمن ها و سازمان فعال حقوق بشر و جامعه اطلاعاتی حمایت خود را از سخنرانی افتتاحیه شیرین عبادی در اجلاس تونس اعلام کرده اند.
بنا بر این گزارش در نامه ای که به امضای مدیر انجمن حقوق بشر به یوشیو اتسومی دبیرکل اتحادیه مخابرات و دبیرکل اجلاس WSIS ارسال شده آمده است:‌ تعداد زیادی از نهادهای جامعه مدنی از گنجاندن نام خانم عبادی در جمع سخنرانان افتتاحیه اجلاس نهایی جامعه اطلاعاتی تونس حمایت کرده اند و ایشان نیز آمادگی خود را در این زمینه اعلام داشته است.
این نامه می افزاید: ما توجه شما را به حمایت خانم Renata Bloem و آقای Roberto Bissio سخنرانان انتخابی شما برای افتتاحیه اجلاس جلب می کنیم که ابراز امیدواری کرده اند خانم عبادی به عنوان سخنران جامعه مدنی در جمع سخنرانان افتتاحیه قرار گیرد.
دور نهایی اجلاس سران جامعه اطلاعاتی قرار است تا ۲۰ روز دیگر در تونس برگزار شود و پیش بینی می شود سران بسیاری از کشورهای جهان در آن حضور یابند.
